Get answers to common questions about European Facial.
A European Facial typically includes deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, steam, extractions when needed, a customized mask, and a soothing facial massage. Our therapists select products for your skin type and finish with serums and moisturizers to rejuvenate and protect the complexion.
Appointments usually last 60 minutes for a full European Facial, though express options may be shorter. Please arrive a few minutes early for consultation. Treatment length can vary depending on skin concerns and any additional therapies you choose.
Yes — a European Facial can be adapted for sensitive or acne-prone skin. We use gentler exfoliants, non-irritating products and cautious techniques. Always inform your therapist about allergies, medications or recent treatments so we tailor the facial safely and effectively.
Minor redness or sensitivity can occur, especially after extractions or exfoliation, but these effects usually subside within hours to a day. Follow your esthetician's aftercare, avoid direct sun, harsh products and vigorous scrubbing for 24-48 hours.
For most clients, a European Facial every four to six weeks maintains results and supports cell turnover. Frequency may vary for acne, sensitivity or corrective plans; your therapist will recommend a personalized schedule based on your skin's needs.
We recommend waiting a few hours before applying makeup, and ideally 24 hours to let products absorb and skin settle. If you must, use light mineral makeup and clean brushes; discuss any concerns with your therapist for tailored aftercare.
